About This Project.
Jim Wise Demolition were appointed as demolition contractors in Birmingham to deliver the safe demolition and site clearance of the former Medical Records Unit at Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield. Working on a live NHS hospital campus required the absolute highest standards of site management — strict exclusion zones, dust and noise suppression, 24-hour communication with the hospital estates team and zero tolerance for disruption to clinical services. Asbestos survey and licensed removal was carried out prior to and during demolition, with all works completed safely and on programme.
The site was handed over fully cleared, with all H&S documentation and waste transfer records provided in full.
How We Delivered It.
All works were carried out by Jim Wise Demolition’s directly employed team of trained and accredited operatives, working under a detailed method statement and risk assessment. Full waste transfer documentation, H&S records and project sign-off were provided to the client on completion.
