About This Project.
Jim Wise Demolition completed the specialist mezzanine steel floor and escalator removal at West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton. Working within a live shopping centre environment required full compliance with West Quay's contractor management system, strict out-of-hours working protocols and careful containment of all works to protect the trading environment. All mezzanine steel structures and escalator installations were safely dismantled and removed, with all M&E connections safely disconnected throughout.
The unit was fully cleared and handed over on programme ready for the incoming tenant's fit out.
How We Delivered It.
All works were carried out by Jim Wise Demolition’s directly employed team of trained and accredited operatives, working under a detailed method statement and risk assessment. Full waste transfer documentation, H&S records and project sign-off were provided to the client on completion.
