We recently completed a full demolition project at the former Tile Warehouse and Greggs site on Kingsbury Road, Erdington, Birmingham. Appointed by Edmond Shipway, this project formed part of a redevelopment scheme to construct two new retail units – one of which included a drive-through facility.

Scope of Works

Our demolition team was tasked with the safe and efficient clearance of the site. This included:

1. ✅ Removal of asbestos-containing materials – carried out in accordance with HSE regulations.
2. 🧹 Soft strip-out of all internal structures prior to structural works.
3. 🔨 Full structural demolition of the former Tile Warehouse and Greggs units.
4. 🏗️ Excavation and removal of slabs, foundations, and hardstandings to leave the site development-ready.
