About This Project.
Jim Wise Demolition was appointed by Biffa to carry out the demolition and clearance of their former site at Newstead Industrial Estate, Stoke-on-Trent. As a former waste management site, Newstead required careful environmental due diligence and specialist handling procedures for all materials throughout the programme. Works included asbestos survey and licensed removal, full demolition of all structures, specialist hazardous material management and complete site clearance.
All waste documentation, hazardous material records and the full H&S file were provided to Biffa on handover.
How We Delivered It.
All works were carried out by Jim Wise Demolition’s directly employed team of trained and accredited operatives, working under a detailed method statement and risk assessment. Full waste transfer documentation, H&S records and project sign-off were provided to the client on completion.
