About This Project.
Jim Wise Demolition was appointed to carry out specialist demolition works at the historic Wedgwood Institute in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent — a complex heritage project requiring the highest levels of care, precision and technical expertise. The Wedgwood Institute is a Grade II listed building, and all demolition works had to be carried out with extreme care to protect the heritage fabric of the retained structure. Works involved careful selective demolition of specified structures, close liaison with structural engineers, asbestos survey and licensed removal, and thorough clearance of all demolition material.
All specified works were completed with the listed building fully protected.
How We Delivered It.
