About This Project.
Jim Wise Demolition was appointed by Hollingsworth Ellery Construction to carry out selective demolition and site clearance at the former Distribution Repair Centre in Shrewsbury. The scope involved the demolition of specific internal structures including stairways, walking platforms, a two-storey canteen and office, and all barriers and Armco internally and externally — whilst carefully preserving the main partition walls and site offices. One of the critical elements of the project was the HSE licensed removal of the asbestos roof from the main warehouse, carried out by certified operatives with full dust suppression, air monitoring and documentation.
All works were delivered safely, on programme and to the client's full satisfaction.
How We Delivered It.
All works were carried out by Jim Wise Demolition’s directly employed team of trained and accredited operatives, working under a detailed method statement and risk assessment. Full waste transfer documentation, H&S records and project sign-off were provided to the client on completion.
