Jim Wise Demolition delivers commercial and industrial demolition across South Wales — Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, the Valleys and the M4 corridor. We’ve already delivered here: the full demolition and site clearance of a commercial site in Pontypridd, including asbestos survey and licensed removal, full structural demolition and complete clearance. Working close to surrounding businesses and infrastructure, our team used hydraulic munchers, shears and tracked excavators to dismantle methodically, break down concrete and segregate waste for recycling — delivered on programme with full waste documentation. We’ve also completed demolition and site clearance at the JSM Engineering site in Sandycroft, Deeside, extending our Welsh delivery record from north to south.

South Wales demolition work spans the region’s industrial legacy — works, foundries and dockside stock in Cardiff and Newport, valley-town commercial buildings, and the distribution and manufacturing sheds along the M4. Pre-2000 stock carries asbestos through every refit generation, which is why we survey intrusively before pricing and remove licensed and non-licensed materials with our own HSE licensed team before anything structural moves. Away delivery follows a fixed pattern: plant by low-loader, secure compound and welfare first, resident supervision throughout.

Every South Wales project is documented from pre-demolition survey through to final handover — method statements, risk assessments, waste transfer notes and certificates of reoccupation as standard. We work to BS 6187:2011 under a CDM 2015 construction phase plan, hold ConstructionLine Gold and SSIP Acclaim accreditation, and divert around 96% of demolition arisings from landfill through source segregation and on-site crushing.
